The 2025 Faithfully Forward Campaign is a strategic fundraising initiative designed to secure $1.15 million in annual unrestricted support for Tamassee DAR School. Our objectives are to empower generational healing for families in recovery, enhance educational opportunities for children, and invest in needed campus infrastructure. Your support is crucial in making these goals a reality.

Priority I

Healing Families

Starlight at Tamassee serves mothers and children seeking recovery from addiction and other forms of family brokenness. By providing vital services in a nurturing Christ-infused residential community, we support these families in realizing generational change

Your Contribution Will Enable Us To:

Maintain Recovery: Groups and services to sustain recovery

Provide Parent Coaching: classes to instill essential parenting skills

Instill Life Skills: Groups and coaching to empower moms to adult successfully

Nurture Spiritual Growth: Connect families to vital relationships with God.

Facilitate Campus Employment: Teach critical job skills and foster independence.

Support Education: Access GED, vocational certifications, and college degrees for successful careers

Offer Home: Cover essentials like cottage utilities, supplies, and upkeep.

Educating Children

Education at Tamassee bridges the gaps for working families in the community and Starlight families on campus. Our evidence-based and accredited Early Childhood and Afterschool programs prepare kids for kindergarten, keep students on grade level throughout elementary school, and shape them to be exceptional future citizens.

Your Contribution Will Enable Us To:

Attract Quality Educators: Recruit and retain dedicated teachers and summer counselors.

Scholarship At-Risk Students: Give access to children who need our program but whose families cannot afford them.

Instill Good Citizenship: Support projects and experiences to teach citizenship values.

Expand Horizons: Provide STEM club, health and wllness, music, art field trips, and more.

Enhance Therapeutic Classrooms: Train teachers and students in social-emotional learning and resiliency skills.

Priority III

Campus Improvement

Maintaining and improving campus facilities is essential for supporting our programs. Our services utilize multiple historic buildings to make learning and generational change possible.

Your Contribution Will Enable Us To:

Installing a new HVAC system in the Education Building.

Sealing stonework on the two buildings to reduce water intrusion.

Replacing the roof on the maintenance shop to equipment and supplies.

Glazing and painting windows on Administration Building and Dining Hall.

$15,000 Provides a new roof for the maintenance shop.
$10,000 Funds campus employment for a Starlight mom.
$7,500 Delivers a year of 4k for an Early Learning student.
$5,000 Provides window repair for our campus Dining Hall.
$2,500 Supports a full school year of Afterschool.
$1,000 Delivers a summer of fun and discovery.
$500 Provides a year of STEM Club for three low-income students.

$1,680 Provides a month of individual and group counseling for all Starlight moms.
$1,040 Supports a month of recovery groups for all Starlight moms.
$600 Delivers a month of parenting groups and coaching for all Starlight moms.
$480 Supports a month of care for an Early Learning toddler.
$220 Provides tutoring for an Afterschool student.
$100 Supports weekly spiritual group opportunities.
$50 Provides resources for teaching citizenship values to Afterschool students.
